The Department of Institutional Research (IR) conducts research and policy analyses to inform NAIT's institutional decision-making and planning, such as data integration, enrolment management, job evaluation system development and the collection and reporting of institutional, regional, environmental and student-centred information. We also provide public accountability by furnishing information and data required by provincial and federal governments and agencies, including annual reports and key performance indicator reports.
For staff and instructors, IR often assists in the design and administration of studies and surveys regarding student/faculty/administrative issues that are central to NAIT's mission of providing highly skilled graduates and training programs. We also assist with proposals for new academic programs and support other institutional initiatives. Read more about NAIT IR.
